FRTCs Extensive Learner Support Services during Migration to an eLearning System

FRTC has migrated to an eLearning System. The Felix Risk Training Consultants eLearning System is an online web-based platform that learners can use to access course material, view facilitation videos, upload completed assignments, interact with one another on the chat forum, interact with the online facilitator should they require clarity or support, and view their learner results. The focus of the system is to improve communication and data transmission between learners and Felix Risk Training Consultants in real-time.

FRTCS Learner Management System

The Learner Management System has been developed to digitise the paper-based processes of FRTC. This is a centralised system whereby learner records can be easily stored and accessed.
The development of an eLearning system aims to improve the accessibility of learner information, whilst simultaneously providing learners with a convenient way to access their course material, submit assignments and engage with the online facilitator and with each other.

The benefit of the LMS is that the system will track the learner’s time spent in the system, from sign in to sign out. In the case of studying via the distance mode, this proves to be an effective way in which learner attendance can be tracked and monitored and serves to assist both the learner, training provider and learner’s employer (Human Resources Department).
Felix Risk Training Consultants (FRTC) believes that learners who are supported in their study efforts are better prepared for learning.
